Every child should have a chance of getting good quality education regardless of their disabilities.
Unfortunately in Nigeria, the right resources to support children with disabilities in schools are barely available and a lot of them are forced to stay at home.
This appeal is our way of giving children with developmental disabilities a chance to get good quality education. The money we receive will be used to train special education teachers and provide learning support in schools.
As a children’s charity, we work with parents, carers, educators, communities and government to remove the barriers to learning for children with developmental disabilities. Our focus is on delivering the highest standard of learning and welfare support in order to ensure that people who are challenged in these areas can live fulfilled and independent lives.
By donating as little as N4500 (£10), you become a part of the support network changing the lives of vulnerable children in Nigeria and can help us provide learning aids to schools. Alternatively, with a monthly donation of N11,250 (£25) we can train 10 teachers to support children with special educational needs.
